Biography of Randy Wollenmann

"Creating beautiful illustrations and unique designs for licensing on products and for other markets."

For over 17 years Randy has been developing illustrations and designs for a broad range of markets; from tabletop giftware, dinnerware and glass design, to greeting cards, gift wrap, puzzles, books and children's learning materials.

YESTERDAY – After graduating from the University of Southern Indiana he started working for a Benedictine printing company in the quiet town of St. Meinrad in southern Indiana. During his years at Abbey Press he took on several creative positions from designing retail and trade catalogs and promotional materials to art directing in product development bringing his sense of design and color to each department. Throughout his time at the Abbey he always kept in touch with personal illustration and designing concepts. Randy worked there for almost 10 years when he made the decision to devote his energy to creating artwork full time and changed his perspective completely by moving to the spectacular desert landscape of the southwest.

TODAY – Ever since that move he has been developing his creative vision and technical skills with each project commitment. "It continues to be an exhilarating process, to start work on a new concept or idea a client presents, working closely with their specific needs and marketing objectives and yet try to discover something fresh and interesting in the creative process.
